Joint research, analysis for a defined question, or review of MCARI's methods. Row-level data is supplied on request, for a stated period, geographic scope and purpose.

Institutional support

Support that sustains the record, The Myanmar Conflict Monitor, and the publication of every issue in both Burmese and English.

Expert review

Specialists in Myanmar's geography, armed actors or languages who can review MCARI's coding rules and glossary.

Independence

MCARI is not affiliated with any government, armed group, or political organization. Our findings are not adjusted to reflect the interests of funders or partners.

Tax status

Myanmar Conflict Analysis Research Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in Wisconsin, USA (EIN 42-3459223). Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
